The Ogden Justice Court has jurisdiction over class C and class B misdemeanor level charges that occur within the borders of Ogden, Utah. Class C and Class B misdemeanor charges can include minor speeding tickets, or more serious charges for domestic violence, DUI, drug charges, and theft. A class C misdemeanor can result in up to 90 days in the Weber County jail, and a class B misdemeanor carries the potential of up to 180 days in jail.

Along with the potential time in jail, there are fines and other collateral consequences of a conviction in a justice court that can include losing your driver’s license or your right to own and possess firearms.
